Simple steps to enjoy your Rocio for a lifetime
- Always gently wipe moisture from the bag with a soft cotton cloth to avoid watermarks on the attractive and protective lacquer finish.
- NEVER use chemical cleansers,course cloths or harsh soaps.
- To help your bag retain its sheen , we recommend using a small amount of wax applied & removed with a soft clean microfiber or cotton cloth.
- When you are not showing off your Rocio bag, keep it safe inside its protective dust bag.
- Store your bag away from direct sunlight or heaters to protect the natural oils that are an integral ingredient in our materials. Moderate room temperature is best for longevity.
- Most of all, like any handmade product, misuse can result in unsightly scratches and nicks, so always handle your bag with extra care!

At ROCIO, we only select the finest sustainable & rapidly renewable materials at our studios. Our handpicked Acacia wood is officially certified, and our suppliers are verified by the Environment of Natural Resources. When a mature tree is finally ready for harvest, it is witnessed by a forest ranger and up to fifty tree saplings are planted in its place. Its important to harvest wood before the tree dies as this managed harvesting prevents CO2 being released into the atmosphere. Nature grows & the environment improves with every single ROCIO wood bag that is created.
Our Wicker designs are handwoven from the finest rattan which is also a fast growing and a rapidly replenishable material.Since rattan grows very quickly, it requires little water to grow and is almost always grown pesticide-free, it is an eco-friendly & long lasting material that uses less of the Earth's resources. Perfect for ROCIO!
Ethical suppliers are key to ensuring the quality of our Shells. Practicing long term sustainability techniques and harvest management ensures a renewable & healthy supply. Specially chosen pearl farmers and fishermen from ocean-dependent communities are among our long-term partners based in countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and French Polynesia.

We are also devoted to designing waste out of all our bags so each of our designs can enjoy a full restoration to extend their longevity or can easily be recycled to enjoy a 2nd life.
We take our time in creation and make no apologies for our slow fashion approach in producing for the long term. Each ROCIO bag can be lovingly passed down through the generations and we are able to reduce the consumption of our resources.
We are fully committed to a sustainable circular economy and in helping to reduce waste and our carbon footprint. We use DHL's "Go Green" for all our logistics. We carry out the 3 "R's". Reduce, reuse and recycle. We recycle & reuse each of our season's samples and collections. In July 2019 ROCIO was officially recognised for our initiatives by Scottish Edge and we were proud to receive the first ever "Circular Economy" award sponsored by Zero Waste Scotland.
ROCIO handbags & clutches are beautifully packed in our branded gift boxes. They are shipped internationally using DHL Express from our design studio in Scotland, United Kingdom.
Please note that both UK domestic and International shipping costs are included in our prices.
Prices displayed on our website "DO" include international taxes and duties for clarity & convenience. The price you see on our website is a "DDP" duty delivered paid price.
Upon shipping we will send you a confirmation by email/sms and provide tracking details for your order.
Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipping, rather than the date of order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to acceptance and approval of your order. An estimated delivery time for your order will be available to view upon checkout. Delivery can take longer than expected due to customs clearance procedures in certain countries.

In certain circumstances if the first delivery attempt to your specified address in the UK fails, you may be notified by Royal Mail or DHL that your order is available to collect from your local Access Point location. Please follow the instructions on the card provided by Royal Mail/DHL and contact sales@houseofrocio.com if you require further information or assistance.
OVERSEAS SHIPMENTS
Shipments to the following countries are subject to strict controls by local customs authorities and as a result delays may occur for reasons outside of our control.

REFUSED SHIPMENTS
If an order is refused at delivery. We will attempt to contact you to arrange a re-delivery with DHL. Please note if you refuse shipping by error you will not be refunded shipping costs or any duties/taxes incurred. We strongly urge you to please review your order prior to shipment.

- We accept returns within 7 days of delivery.
- The item(s) should be returned unused and in perfect condition, with all tags still attached.
- All returns should be sent back to us in their original packaging.
- Please note, sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Please allow 2-3 weeks for your refund. We’ll send an email once the item(s) have been received and your refund has been processed.
- The costs associated with the return are the responsibility of the customer.
